Through a game of mise en abyme, the act of creation becomes its own subject, and the laying bare of the process transforms into a work of art. Alone facing a monumental canvas, the performer engages in a physical face-off with the virgin surface. First observation and tension, then confrontation: the body comes into play, it paints, hits, rubs, leans, and projects itself. The canvas becomes a space of struggle and revelation where the audience witnesses the emergence of the image in real time.
