Drawing from the family archives left by her grandmother, Mallory Lowe Mpoka retraces the history of her ancestors and, more broadly, that of a people marked by the violence of Cameroon's war of independence in the 1950s and 1960s. The artist invites us to dive into her cultural, family, and artistic heritage to revisit and reinvent her history.
