The Jazz Mofos (Franco Proietti: sax, Cordell Henebury: guitar, Shaun Ryan: bass & Brandon Goodwin: drums) is a group that has been playing in Montreal and surrounding areas since 2016. They tackle standards from different eras, and are just as likely to play a piece by Duke Ellington as one by Kamasi Washington. With jazz as their cornerstone, they also navigate the waters of soul and funk – stopping along the way to play one or two original pieces from time to time.
