Under the direction of Polish conductor Anna Sułkowska-Migoń, three composers from a tumultuous century come together in a program in which music becomes a flash of freedom. Composed at the pivotal moment of his return to the USSR, Prokofiev's ballet Romeo and Juliet is born from the clash between personal aspirations and political pressures, carried by expressive melodies and dazzling modernity.
