The pièce de résistance of this programme is Dvořák's powerful Symphony No. 9 \\"From the New World\\", paying homage to the richness of influences and cultures of America. Three evocative pieces will complement this evening: Grieg's famous Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, imbued with Nordic colours, Emilie Mayer's Overture No. 3, and a Reverie by Guillaume Couture, one of the pioneers of Quebec symphonic music. A convivial musical experience, under the stars, to share together.
