An actress recounts her meeting with a director. Between them, an immediate attraction. She wants to succeed, to assert herself. So does he. They find themselves in a complementary need: to look and to be seen. He gives her shape, molds her, elevates her. She accepts. But as the bond tightens, the desire to be recognized becomes confused with the danger of disappearing.
