Through Amanda's story, who has been silent for the last 18 years of her life, Les veuves parallèles questions the transmission of memory between women of different generations. Sailing between the real and the imaginary, the dining table becomes the theater through which the past resurfaces. To the sound of the violin, fragments of life charged with secrets are linked and superimposed on everyday gestures.
