Inspired by Victor Hugo's novel, the show transports us to 19th-century France. Les Misérables tells the heart-wrenching story of Jean Valjean, a former prisoner relentlessly pursued by the ruthless Inspector Javert. Along the way, he meets Fantine, a worker crushed by poverty, to whom he promises to take care of her daughter, little Cosette.
