About event

The Montreal Police Museum has existed since 1992. It operates with the help of volunteers, mostly retired police officers and civilian employees of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), as well as skilled civilian volunteers in museology. Several years before its inception, the idea of creating a museum at the SPVM had formed in the minds of the founding members who were looking for a way to contribute to the collective heritage of the Montreal community.
