Manon Lescaut, the heroine of the Abbé Prévost's novel, is the archetype of a fatal passion: loving, seductive, but doomed to a sad fate. Soprano Sarah Dufresne transports us to the universe of this mythical figure by blending the arias from two famous adaptations, those of Auber and Massenet, to outline her psychological profile.
