Georges, a family man of Egyptian origin, sees his two Quebec-born children absorbing the values of a more open and less conformist society than his own. Through fragments of everyday life, a portrait emerges of a man who is upright, conservative, and traditional, but also loving, funny, and deeply endearing. Despite his awkwardness, Georges tries to adapt to his children's lifestyle choices as best he can.
