About event
After their mother's suicide, a father decides to burn the past, believing that this will soften the future for what remains of his family. We follow a group of siblings as they try to stay afloat in the face of loss: their mother, their home reduced to ashes, and their life before. Between a Normandin restaurant, a funeral home, and a karaoke bar, they search for places to come together, or simply to avoid sinking. It is together, awkwardly and without a manual, that they navigate what remains.
