Reality has become porous. Everyday life is lived through two registers that converge exponentially: the physical and the digital. Ideas, facts, cultures, and worldviews constantly circulate from one space to another, bounce, and reform. Reflecting these fluctuations, Common Absurd proposes a new series of sculptural works by Adam Basanta. Reappropriated and tampered with objects of everyday life, mechanical devices, computers, and outdated technologies coexist.
