A unique musical voice (Guitar International) and a playing style of lyrical fluidity (DownBeat), Canadian guitarist and composer Alex Goodman established himself in New York in 2012. There he was recognized as one of the most promising talents of his jazz generation (JazzTimes) and one of the most important guitarists in New York (Jazziz). In 2014, he won First Prize and the Public's Choice Award at the Montreux Jazz Festival's International Guitar Competition.
