Utei - récit d`un survivant
About event
From the late 1800s until 1996, when the last native boarding school was closed, over 150,000 Indigenous children were taken from their families to be educated by religious groups. After decades, even centuries of oppression, Indigenous artists are now at the forefront of the fight for the survival of their cultural heritage. Omer St-Onge is one of them.
