A show and a procession combining giant puppets, a brass band, and raw poetry to celebrate Claude Gauvreau's 100th anniversary. Inspired by the novel Baroque Beauty, written after the suicide of actress Muriel Guilbault, The Giant and the Muse imagines the posthumous reunion of the poet and his muse — a vibrant tribute, a symbolic offering for this anniversary. A theatrical performance where memory, myth, and madness blend together.
