Jane Mei is a Montreal jazz pianist whose musical voice is rooted in lyricism, commitment, and sometimes a touch of humor. After completing her bachelor's degree in jazz interpretation at McGill University, where she took private lessons with Marianne Trudel and Jean Michel Pilc, she is now launching Oceanography, her first entirely original album, in which each piece evokes a marine element or creature.
