In May 2020, Montrealers woke up to an unlikely and magical spectacle. Between the Clock Tower and the iconic Ferris Wheel, a fin broke the water's surface, announcing the arrival of a young humpback whale that had lost its way over 400 km upstream. Its presence captivated the city and the country during a period of isolation and confusion.
