The prodigious Sophia Liu, who started studying piano at the age of 4, has participated in several international competitions and has won numerous awards in Canada, China, Japan, Europe, and the United States: Kobe Piano Competition in Japan, Chinese International Piano Composition Competition in Hangzhou, Canada Canimex Music Competition, Chopin International Competition in Hartford in the United States, as well as the Philadelphia International Piano Competition.
