Phantogram, a New York-based trip-hop, electro, and indie duo, formed in 2007 in Saratoga Springs. Vocalist Sarah Barthel and guitarist Joshua Carter craft a unique sound, blending street beat rhythms, psychedelic melodies, and organic textures. They write and rehearse at Harmony Lodge, a rural farm. The duo's name is inspired by the phantogram optical illusion.
