About event
To celebrate her centenary, a heartfelt tribute is paid to Ludmilla Chiriaeff (1924-1996), founder of the École supérieure de ballet du Québec and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. Recognized for her influence on the development and teaching of dance in the country, Chiriaeff has been honored on numerous occasions. Her remarkable journey, from her beginnings in Berlin through the trials of World War II to her immigration to Canada, is celebrated.
