You will discover the fascinating and unknown world of deaf culture. Explore the history of deafness through one of the works of the Sisters of Providence: the education of deaf girls at the Institution of Deaf-Mutes in Montreal, which opened its doors to end the isolation of deaf girls in Quebec. It was also within this Institution that the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows was born.
