Spring 1968. Gil Kemeid, a 22-year-old Montreal student, falls in love a few weeks before a trip that is supposed to take him in the footsteps of his Levantine origins. Delayed by the protests that are setting Paris ablaze, he reaches Marseille, where he finds a used Vespa that allows him to launch himself towards the East.
