Héron is a folk song project. Surrounded by musicians from the traditional and pop music scenes in Montreal, Henri Kinkead seeks to connect his musical background with the living heritage of Quebec. Inspired by Quebec folk, indie rock from the 2000s, and Louis Boudreaults reels, Héron offers a collection of songs that are both personal and festive, firmly rooted in Quebecs musical heritage in a confident and unapologetic way.
