Winner of two JUNO Awards, Montreal-based singer-songwriter Djely Tapa will offer an exceptional concert in Canada for the first time on October 19th at the National to present her new album, Dankoroba. The evening will bring together special guests and unveil the compositions of her highly anticipated new album. Descendant of a prestigious griot family from Mali, Djely Tapa propels Malian traditions into cosmic, afro-futuristic, and electronic dimensions.
