David Laflèche is surrounded by music from a young age, with a father who is a conductor, Jacques Laflèche, and a mother who is a singer, Milady, Hélène Levasseur. He is also the nephew of Gisele Mackenzie Laflèche, a legendary Canadian singer from the 1960s and 1970s. David discovers the electric guitar and goes to Boston to study it at Berklee College of Music. Year after year, he takes on roles as a conductor and musical director for television shows such as Bons baisers de Fr.
