Collectif9 presents an explosive program for string quintet and drums that explores several contemporary languages ​​deeply rooted in folk and urban cultures with drummer Ronny Desinor. The music is groovy and percussive, at times dissonant and exploratory, influenced by jazz, funk, and folk music. It features pieces by Gabriella Smith, Giovanni Sollima, Curtis Stewart, Vijay Iyer, John Zorn, and Jessie Montgomery.
