Inspired by the Mandinka epic, a founding narrative from the 13th century passed down by the griots —poets, musicians, and guardians of memory—, Aly Keita pays homage to the roots, transmissions, and alliances that shape identities and transcend time. Dance extends this narrative through gesture, the buried voice projects, and instruments revitalize the link with the ancestral.
