Tamara Suffren, singer-songwriter born in Port-au-Prince in 1988, has been steeped in music since childhood. She blends jazz, gospel, French song, world music, and traditional Haitian rhythms, interpreting her own lyrics as well as those of Haitian and foreign poets.
