Mimi O’Bonsawin is a contemporary roots singer-songwriter from northeastern Ontario of French-Canadian and W8banaki (Abénaki) descent, and a member of the Odanak First Nation. Her music fuses natural sounds with acoustic instruments and delicate harmonies, creating a sonic experience that connects deeply with the earth and introspection.
