In the midst of summer, Cécile, 18, languishes on the French coast with her boyfriend, Cyril, her father, Raymond, and her girlfriend, Elsa. The arrival of her late mother's friend, Anne, upsets everything. At the heart of the sun-drenched splendor of their surroundings, Cécile's world is threatened and, desperate to regain control, she sets in motion a plan to drive Anne away, with tragic consequences.
