After very dense seasons, Albin de la Simone felt the unstoppable need to find himself, face to face with himself. Walled up in the surreal Villa Medici, he finished writing and drawing Mes battements, a first book brought back from his past. With his eyes already on the rearview mirror, he also had fun reinventing the songs of his past. Rhythm boxes, deep basses, synthesizers with soft halos around his Una Corda piano, and that incredible Fender VI dear to The Cure as well...
