About event

The film explores human evolution under the influence of a mysterious extraterrestrial monolith, from prehistory to the space age. The artificial intelligence HAL 9000 turns against the crew of the spaceship Discovery One. Astronaut Bowman, the sole survivor, travels through a cosmic portal and is reborn in a superior form, symbolizing a new stage of humanity.
